The French baby sweaters - made for my boyfriend's mother's friends in France -
- are finally, finally, finally done.
Off my needles. Off the blocking mat.
I struggled with these sweaters. They weren't hard or anything - I just completely stopped wanting to knit while making these sweaters. I don't really know why. It just happened. Maybe it was the repetitiveness. The awkward and frustrating colorwork worked flat. Maybe it was the summer heat? Maybe it had nothing to do with anything, and it just happened. But I got through the sweaters, and I'm so pleased with them. I'm not really knitting anything else right now, though I've got plenty of projects on the go if I felt the urge. I just...haven't felt the urge! I'm sure that I will eventually, though.
But for now, here are two projects photographed and marked off my list.
And most importantly, out the door!
Pattern is the really, really excellent Ella Funt by Pamela Wynne, yarn is a bunch of different colors by Superwash Cascade Sport 220. Here is the project page for sweater one and here is sweater two - both of which have a bunch of more specific notes on them!!
