merry merry

I hadn't meant to post for the first time in months and then go silent, but after the events that happened two Fridays ago, I could barely go about my normal every day life, let alone keep up with my blog posting plans.

My heart is still broken, but it feels so restorative to be back home, to have time to be with family, to sit and watch movies and knit and enjoy myself. I don't know if I have ever appreciated the holidays and those I love as much as I have this year, and that's definitely a feeling I need to hold on to.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season. You deserve it.
